Join the leadership of the Progressive Democrats of America and the SBPDA Chapter on Thursday April 27th from 5:30 to 8:00 at Democratic Headquarters, 402 E. Gutierrez St. The following PDA leaders will speak: Tim Carpenter (PDA National Director), Sherry Bohlen (PDA Field Director), Rev. Lennox Yearwith (Hip-Hop Caucus) and Kevin Spidel (PDA Deputy Director).
The next meeting of the Progressive Coalition will be Wednesday May 3rd. This month's forum will present a panel discussion on the Health of the County's Health Care. Volunteer to Register Voters

Monday May 22nd is the last day before the June 6th Election to update or change your voter registration, or to get a new voter in your house registered. May 30th is the last day to request an absentee ballot if you are going to be out of town on Election Day. The SB Elections Office is located at 130 E. Victoria St., near Santa Barbara St., in the Naomi Schwartz Building, 568-2200.

Join MotherHeart on Mother's Day, May 14th at 2:00 p.m. at Stearns Wharf Arlington West. MotherHeart will feature moms who have lost a child in Iraq. MotherHeart hopes that enough people will attend to encircle the crosses (currentlly over 2,300), holding hands and expressing hope for peace and compassision.
